Loài Euonymus alatus thuộc họ Celastraceae phân bố tại một số vùng trên thế giới như nan, United States of America, Sweden, Canada, Korea, Republic of, Netherlands, Denmark. Dược liệu đã được sử dụng ở một số vùng lãnh thổ để điều trị một số chứng và bệnh tại như ‘china: thuốc giảm đau, thuốc nhuận tràng’, ‘elsewhere: thuốc tẩy giun, thuốc chống ho’.Từ loài này đã phân lập và xác định được 73 hoạt chất thuộc về 13 nhóm gồm , 2-arylbenzofuran flavonoids, aryltetralin lignans, carboxylic acids and derivatives, cinnamic acids and derivatives, fatty acyls, flavonoids, furanoid lignans, organooxygen compounds, phenols, prenol lipids, pyridines and derivatives, steroids and steroid derivatives.
