Loài Soymida febrifuga thuộc họ Meliaceae phân bố tại một số vùng trên thế giới như nan, unknown or invalid, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka. Dược liệu đã được sử dụng ở một số vùng lãnh thổ để điều trị một số chứng và bệnh tại như ‘english: chất làm se’, ‘india: chất làm se, thuốc bổ’.Từ loài này đã phân lập và xác định được 64 hoạt chất thuộc về 13 nhóm gồm benzene and substituted derivatives, coumarins and derivatives, dioxepanes, fatty acyls, flavonoids, homoisoflavonoids, linear 1,3-diarylpropanoids, naphthopyrans, phenols, prenol lipids, pyrans, steroids and steroid derivatives, stilbenes.
