Dược liệu đã được sử dụng ở một số vùng lãnh thổ để điều trị một số chứng và bệnh tại như ‘elsewhere: chất khử trùng, chất làm se, thuốc tống hơi, rubefacient’, ‘europe: dạ dày, thuốc bổ’, ‘iraq: chất kích thích’, ‘kurdistan: chất khử trùng’, ‘turkey: chất khử trùng, chất làm se, thuốc an thần, chất kích thích, nước hoa, thuốc tống hơi, rubefacient, dạ dày’, ‘ain: chất khử trùng’.Từ loài này đã phân lập và xác định được 188 hoạt chất thuộc về 20 nhóm gồm benzene and substituted derivatives, benzopyrans, carboxylic acids and derivatives, cinnamic acids and derivatives, coumarins and derivatives, epoxides, fatty acyls, flavonoids, heteroaromatic compounds, organooxygen compounds, oxanes, oxolanes, phenol esters, phenol ethers, phenols, prenol lipids, steroids and steroid derivatives, tannins, tetrahydrofurans, unsaturated hydrocarbons.
