Dược liệu đã được sử dụng ở một số vùng lãnh thổ để điều trị một số chứng và bệnh tại như ‘elsewhere: đổ mồ hôi, thuốc lợi tiểu, thuốc long đờm, thuốc nhuận tràng’, ‘eurasia: chất độc’, ‘turkey: họ sẽ mở, thuốc lợi tiểu, thuốc long đờm, có mùi hôi, chất độc, thuốc nhuận tràng’, ‘ain: thuốc nhuận tràng’.Từ loài này đã phân lập và xác định được 37 hoạt chất thuộc về 8 nhóm gồm carboxylic acids and derivatives, dihydrofurans, fatty acyls, flavonoids, hydroxy acids and derivatives, organooxygen compounds, prenol lipids, steroids and steroid derivatives.
